Passavant® Mammutrotor®

The wastewater treatment plant in Lohne-Rießel needs to replace an existing Mammutrotor® from the year 1975.
The new rotor has to be delivered with a guide baffle and an aerosol protection device. The aeration tank can‘t be emptied during the operation and the water level can be lowered no more than by 20 to 40 cm. Therefore the equipment has to be installed in the filled basin.

The Passavant-Geiger offered and delivered a Passavant® Surface Aerator Mammutrotor® 1000 – 9.0 mm. The device was installed and put into operation in June 2014.


Since commissioning, the Mammutrotors have been running completely satisfied without significant problems.
The technical support provided by the Aqseptence Group complies with the agreements therefore the Oldenburg-Ostfriesische wastewater association could certify the Passavant-Geiger the required expertise, efficiency and reliability based to the aforementioned treatment plant.
